Our jewelry is made with 14 karat gold and natural gemstones, which means you will not experience any tarnishing or color change with everyday wear and good care. Gold is malleable and can become scratched when put under pressure. The same can be said of gemstones, which can vary in hardness and can sustain scratches if not cared for properly. We recommend removing your jewelry during the following instances: 

When it might come into contact with harsh chemicals like cleaning solvents, chlorine, or perfume

During extended periods in water such as during swimming or washing dishes

During vigorous activity or when your hands are being used actively, like during workouts, gardening, painting, or cooking.

To clean your pieces, we recommend polishing them with a lint-free, microfiber cloth. Alternatively, you can use mild soap, water, and a clean toothbrush to gently remove debris and oils. Our jewelry should never be put in an ultrasonic cleaner as this can affect the gemstones. Consider professional cleanings as needed. 

Your jewelry should be stored in a dry environment away from other pieces that might scratch it, such as in a jewelry box or the dedicated microfiber satchel you receive it in.

We are confident that our jewelry is crafted with expert care, however it is delicate and should be treated as such. If your jewelry is delivered damaged in any way, contact us immediately at hello@sosijewelry.com so that we can provide appropriate guidance, being sure to include photos of the damage and shipping container.

Damage deemed to occur due to manufacturing deficits can be repaired at no cost to the customer within the first 6 months after purchase. Outside of that window, our experts are available to inspect any damage that might occur to our pieces during normal wear.

Our warranty does not cover lost items, scratches that come with normal wear, improper use or storage of your piece, and any modification to your piece done by a third party outside of SOSI.

SOSI covers the cost of all repairs under normal wear for the first six month after purchase. Outside of warranty, SOSI will perform repairs for a fee. Please note, if any jeweler other than SOSI makes alterations or repairs to your jewelry, the SOSI warranty will be voided. We are happy to make minor adjustments to jewelry, including resizing, for an additional fee.

We don't recommend having our pieces worked on by outside jewelers as this voids any potential for refund or replacement (should a defect develop due to their work). This includes resizing or any type of repair work.
